Joining the NHS in 1996, Tracy completed NVQ’s in direct nursing care gaining secondment into nurse training in 2002. Qualifying as an Adult Nurse in 2005, Tracy moved straight into Cardiac Critical Care where she obtained a BSc in Critical Care Nursing in 2011, remaining within this speciality until December 2014. A change of direction led Tracy to nurse in the community until February 2016, a critical care nurse at heart, she returned to the Q.E Critical Care team on Area A. With a desire to improve outcomes and care delivery to our patients across a range of specialities, Tracy joined the NIHR SRMRC in June 2018.
Tracy is a Band 5 Research Nurse within the SRMRC team. She works alongside Band 6 nurses running trials, screening/ reviewing patients and collating data.
