Latesha joined the SRMRC team in 2019 as the Administration Manager for the SRMRC and works in the project management team for both the SRMRC and Scar Free Foundation-Centre for Conflict Wound Research.

After graduating in Tourism Management at the University of Greenwich, Latesha developed a background in administration from working in various specialties, beginning as a Patient Access Officer in Rheumatology and Lupus at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and moving onto becoming a senior administrator in the South East London Diabetic Eye screening Programme. She then moved to Milton Keynes and worked as a patient pathway co-ordinator in Colorectal Surgery and gained her project management experience when she became a project support officer for the eCARE IT programme launching a new electronic patient record system. Her recent role before working in research was at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital as a project officer for the Birmingham and Solihull United Maternity and Newborn Partnership, implementing a collaborative local maternity system across Birmingham and Solihull.
