I have been a qualified Nurse for 2 years and have previously worked for 1 year in Vascular/Thoracic surgery at BHH Ward 4. The Thoracic department then migrated to QEHB Ward 727 where I came along with them and worked for another year on a multi-speciality ward consisting of Colorectal/Upper GI/Cardiac and Thoracic surgery where a HDU was implemented for level 2 patients who have had Thoracic surgery. I have now started a new job in Trauma Research that I am excited to learn more about and become a valuable member of the NIHR SRMRC team.
