The November edition of News@QEHB is now out and we’re in it.
Turn to page 8 of the newspaper, which is for patients, staff, visitors and volunteers at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, to read about how patients are benefitting from the work undertaken by researchers who play a vital role in advancing the treatments across the Trust.
As well as an update on the work of the NIHR SRMRC, you’ll be able to find out more about the Golden Hour study which is the first of its kind. Led by Professor Tony Belli and Professor Janet Lord, this radical new research aims to help save and improve the lives of trauma patients around the world.
You’ll also be able to read about exciting plans to develop a breathalyser test for concussion in sports players and the team’s nomination for a prestigious Military Civilian Health Partnership Award for their ongoing trauma research.
If you aren’t able to collect a copy of News@QEHB, which is available in stands throughout the Trust including in QEHB, the QE and the Plaza Restaurant, please click here.
